Deutschlandradio was faced with the task of standardizing the two radio control rooms in Cologne and Berlin in order to be able to operate more flexibly and efficiently.
sommer + spohr were commissioned to survey the existing processes in the control room, scheduling and program exchange and to standardize the workflows in Berlin and Cologne. The new control room software was to be used to identify process improvements.
After the project, Deutschlandradio had a comprehensive process model in which the weak points and potentials were clearly identified. The requirements for the new processes were described in detail in user stories. This provided the prerequisites for the subsequent fine specification.
